"When does this take place?"

Most likely a week after the 3run family Jam which means anywhere between the 10th and 20th of August. However if you would rather it be earlier vote in the poll and hope you win!

"Where do I stay"

01592 267775 ← ← ← tourist information no. (for Kirkcaldy, South Fife) They should be able to help you with travel and accommodation.

Kirkcaldy is the ideal place you'll be wanting to stay as it's where we'll spend the second day and the place we'll be spending the first day; St Andrews will be booked out by tourists (St Andrews is the home of golf. And often gets famous people such as Samuel L Jackson staying) But they'll stay out of our way on the golf courses. Other good places include: Leuchars, Cupar, Ladybank, Markinch, Leven, Glenrothes, Cardenden, Lochelly, Kinghorn, Burntisland (nearest to furthest from St Andrews) But keep in mind most of this could still change, so wait until we've finalized everything which will be soon.

"How do I get there"

Ideally drive with whoever you're bringing with you (if you are bringing anyone with you) but if you are too young or haven't got a license or car check http://www.nationalexpress.com/ for train and coach prices as they always have good offers, and select the destination as either Kirkcaldy, or Edinburgh (as this may be cheaper) and get a bus from there to Kirkcaldy or wherever you wish to stay.
Here's a map of Fife with train & bus stations included,
http://www.fifedirect.org.uk/uploadfiles/publications/c64_jeh7ro.pdf
(copy/paste into address bar, requires Acrobat Reader) so you can see what trains you can get to the stations displayed.
It may be a long trip depending on where you're coming from but not as long as one which team tempest went on to get to the COPK jam: http://teamtempest.blogspot.com/2008/08/ridin-dirrty.html
I'll help you with it personally, if you can drive you can look up directions or I can send you them.
